Alternative and cooler ways to blog your thoughts

Most people – including me – tend to be a bit slow in adapting new techniques or ways to do ‘usual’ things. One of these things I’m a tad slow with as well is the usage of alternative ways to blog. You read that right, there are more options than simply logging on to your Wordpress page and posting along!

The weblog author of ‘Library Clips‘ made a pretty neat list showing a bunch of the most useful or most used options to blog in alternative ways. There are quite some interesting ones listed there, such as links to guides on how to automatically blog about the del.icio.us links you added, or Twitter posts you bookmarked.

While those might not be the best examples; auto generated content tends to be rather boring as it usually lacks the context, using for instance Imified to blog through your favorite IM program seems rather handy. Of course there are also tons of extensions and plugins available for browsers and such, for example ScribeFire, which will let you blog in a split window. A page to keep in mind
