Charlotte SEO Review

A new request for a review came in today, this time by the weblog of Charlotte SEO Consultant. As the name might already suggest to you, this blog is dedicated to the work of a SEO consulant and his findings. The subjects covered are mainly SEO practicing but also some of the latest tech news is covered, such as the latest post about the new Apple iPhone.
The blog itself looks very neat; a bright and clean color set, white with red/orange, and is very easy on the eye. Clearly the author loves the effects of sIFR, it’s no doubt nice as it’s only replacing the text for those who are capable of viewing the flash, which results in good searchability and a nicer font for the visitors who are reading the page. The drawback of this is though that not all links are easy to copy like you would be able to do with a regular text link, it als increases the loading times a little bit, but with the modern internet speeds this shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Even though the blog covers quite some subjects, too bad it’s lacking posts a bit, my favorite category so far is by no doubt the ‘SEO Scam of the Week‘. Simply because this category contains the most humor – it’s pretty ridiculous if you read what ‘SEO scammers’, as the author calls them, claim to do for their clients – false claims all over the place! Conclusion? Perhaps some less flash usage and more blogposts will do the blog itself good, I’ve also found a somewhat detailed biography of the author missing, the ‘About’ page doesn’t even state a name, just that the author is a ‘he’, his name is visible on the posts themselves though.
