CM's new huge heat sink

It looks like our good old friend, CoolerMaster is coming with a new heat sink, named the ‘GeminII’, by the end of March. You might think, “nothing new, they do that all the time”, which is partly correct. They indeed come with new heat sinks quite often, but I have never seen an heat sink that had this size; it’s roughly 18cm long, 12cm wide and 9cm high; just about as wide as the average motherboard!

I wonder what the price tag of this beast will be, I don’t think it’ll be much lower than cheap water cooling kits some PC fanatics use now. On the other hand, I think this beast might be well capable of doing some impressive good with passive cooling in modern PC’s – if it fits in your case, that is. Right now I’m using a Scythe Ninja in my PC, which is also a big beast, but it’s not even half as wide as this CoolerMaster skyscraper, hopefully it wont outperform mine, because that would give me a reason to upgrade…
