iPod Mysteries…

Yes yes, yet another article about the iPod. But this one is rather funny.
In Texas, a 14 year old girl wanted an iPod for her birthday. So her mother took her to a nearby Target store to buy one.

However, when they came home and opened the box, it did not contain an iPod but just a few rocks. They went back to the Target store and they got in-store credit. But apparently that Target had no remaining iPods in stock so they went to another Target close by. At the second store the girl bought another iPod, and opened it in front of the employees.
And guess what…? Another box Order Disulfiram online full of rocks order Viagra Pain Relief ! (for more of these incredibly funky puns, visit: Gizmodo!)

I suppose because it’s an iPod the whole thing gets a lot more attention than if it would be, let’s say, a Sweex power supply, but still it’s interesting…

Unbelievable story. Does Apple started business related to piles of rocks? There must be some problem in inventory of the stores. Otherwise Apple is a known brand & never ever think about giving their customers rocks instead of Ipods.

Other websites are showing video of the devices and detailed descriptions of the differences between other components revealed by e same source. This definitely looks like either a slight update to the existing iPhone, or possibly a 3G to 3GS like generational upgrade. And with CNET sying today that Apple will be announcing a product launch event this weekend or soon after¡this is very possibly a Verizon iPhone¡maybe with world support or LTE to explain the sim slot?
