PKZip Returns in the form of SecureZIP

While back in the early 90’s – before my digital time began, so I’m relying on Wikipedia – the company PKWare was big their their software ‘PKZip’, one of the first command line zip programs that allowed you to save and compress multiple files into one.

However, when a lot of other programs were made with just about the same functionality it went into the dark holes of the forgotten applications… Until a couple of years later, as they’re trying to make their comeback with a new version that comes with additional options for data security; 256-bit encryption.

On their website you can sign up for a free download – unlimited, not a trial – which will allow you to take a look at the software, and perhaps even tell others about it.
