I’ve never quite been much of a television guru, or addict – pick one, but with websites such as YouTube and Google Video growing big there are nice things coming up every now and then. One of these funny series I do watch every now and then is RockStartup, it’s reality tv recorded and audited by members of the PayPerPost team. The episodes cover random things such as ‘losing weight‘ in the office up to the acquiring of Performance.com.

While there are already eleven episodes, I’ve got one personal favorite. It’s episode ten, titled ‘Out of site‘ for a couple of reasons. In the first place it’s very nice to see two sides of a story; I’ve experienced the downtime they had a little while ago as well and indeed, as one of the guys – I’m sorry, forgot your name – said, ’some of the posties will get really mad about this’.

However, when you see it wasn’t some intended downtime or whatsoever, it’s pretty understandable, even though it’s a bit depressing when you’re unable to submit your lenghty post when it’s finished. Another nice thing about the episode, which comes back in msot of them though, is to see how they work. The office seems like one big room with everyone sitting behind huge Apple Cinema displays working, but also just having fun with collegues and chitchatting some when there is time. I’d really recommend the PPP posties to take a look at these videos as it surely will help to relax a bit more while posting for them; it’s sometimes good to be able to put a face with the names, especially if that one post has been rejected again for a reason you just don’t seem to be able to see .
