Say hi to John Chow
Yesterday, my time, my favorite blog author, John Chow, featured my blog in his ‘News from top commentators‘ article. I was quite happy to see he linked to me this time last time he had an action like this I wasn’t one of the lucky few who got featured.
To be a little more more exact, he linked to my ‘How to give your website an easy PR boost‘ article. This nice link resultd in 24 referrees from his article directly as well as about 20 from his main page, in just 24 hours time. I’m quite sure the title of the article caught the eye of a lot of readers; having a high PR does give your website some kind of ’status’ towards other webmasters. Besides that it also resulted into two blogs linking to the article directly, which gave me a couple of points higher on Technorati as well.
So, heres another good tip to increase yourtraffic, exposure and visitors; post on big weblogs that tend to link back to the contributor; it’ll work like an undemocratic Digg; no flamers and ’spam’ markings, but purely interested people, thanks John!
