The first ‘big’ game being ported to pocket PC?

On the LoudLaunch website a post came up that the website named Clickgamer dot Com has managed to get the exclusive rights for the Pocket PC version of Syberia 2 (in English). This message somewhat surprised me; I haven’t seen before that a ‘full’ computer game was ported to PocketPC.

For those who don’t know what Syberia (2) is; Syberia is a ‘fully loaded’ third person adventure game for the PC as well as PS2 and Xbox. The game-play and controls are somewhat similar to the popular ‘Myst’ series that were released in the past ten years. Syberia was somewhat known for the high-end graphics (of its time); this makes it a bit weird exactly this game is being ported to the Pocket PC’s – they generally don’t have much resources available.

Judging by the screen shots I’ve embedded, the developers have managed to handle this fairly well though, the screenshots look small, but very detailed – especially compared to the boring Bejeweled and Tetris games you generally see on those hand helds. For more info you can take a look at the Clickgamer website, you can also order it on their website.
