Wallhogs – Make your own digital wall paints
It’s been a while since I last found a suiting opportunity on SponsoredReviews, but this time I did come across an interesting one, that was also offering a compensation in the range I’m aiming for – the perfect combination.
The provider of this opportunity is ‘Wallhogs‘, a company that will let you print anything – ranging from business logo’s, to photo’s and paintings. This doesn’t sound too shocking – completely true, however, the emphasis is on big prints.
Having said that and taking a look at their website will pretty soon show that this is more than just a printing service, it’s in fact a very promising way to decorate your room or to give your unique personal gift to someone, for instance a family picture for your grandma.

On their website there is one picture that explains pretty well what their aim is and how the whole system works; you take a picture or make one, upload it and in a couple of days or weeks you’ll receive your item. I must say it’s a very savvy way to show your users what to expect – and what not – in one glimpse of an eye, a smart move. also, in case this wasn’t quite clear yet, there also is the page ‘What is a Wallhog‘, which explains it pretty well by showing a nice flash animation containing a couple of amazing examples.
Besides your own custom ‘wallhogs’ they’ve also got a collection of pre-made pictures you can directly order in various sizes. This is also the part where it becomes interesting for graphical artists or simply creative people: When you add your photo’s or images to the Wallhogs category you’ll be paid 20% of the revenu made, a nice share that should definitely help Wallhogs to gain some more pictures as well as exposure on the web.
As I already mentioned; it’d be nice if Wallhogs manages to gather some more images for their already created collection. Right now there are quite some categories with pictures of all sorts, but most of them look rather ’stock’ and a bit boring. Also, the only non-Wallhogs artist I’ve spotted so far is Boing Boing’s Mark F., a nice graphics artist with a ‘child-friendly’ way of drawing.
In case the visitor of this amazing website has some last doubts there still is the ‘FAQ’s‘ category on the website, which explained pretty much like all I was thinking about at that moment, the only thing I’m missing a bit are user reviews with some photo’s made of the actual results – I’m pretty curious about that. The last thing I’ll be saying is that I found it pretty smart to include a blog to the website – fully featured with the latest trends and gadgets, such as MyBlogLog – jumping right into the big trend and unleashing a pretty big potential market – way to go!
